PM denounces Taliban attack in Peshawar

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday strongly condemned the killings of over hundred civilians, including school children, in a Taliban attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan.
In a condolence message, Hasina said, “Such barbaric and heinous killings have shocked and astonished the people of the whole of world.”
To prevent reoccurrence of such crimes against humanity, the Prime Minister also called upon the people of this region to fight together against the international terrorism and communal extremists.Hasina also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of the victims of the attack and conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Militants from the Pakistani Taliban attacked an army-run school in Peshawar, leaving at least 135 people dead, mostly children.
The attack is the deadliest ever by the Taliban in Pakistan. – UNB
