ACC official says finds Rony’s illegal assets

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has reportedly found evidences of illegal properties of ruling Awami League lawmaker Golam Maula Rony elected from Patuakhali-3 constituency.ACC submitted an investigative report on Rony’s asset on Tuesday.
ACC deputy director Talebur Rahman made the disclosure to journalists.
ACC source said MP Rony allegedly achieved illegal assets and has been asked to submit a wealth statement.
The ACC investigated into his involvement in various issues, including construction of house on government land, collecting commission from tenders and acquiring illegal wealth.
ACC also got evidence from National Board Revenue where Rony was accused for unlawful resources and avoiding income tax.
