Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) staged protest processions and rallies across country on Tuesday demanding withdrawal of cases filed against BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman and stoping efforts made to tarnish his image.A protest procession was brought out in capital led by Dhaka City Chhatra Dal (South) president Ishak Sarker and general secretary Khandoker Enamul Haque.
The procession started from Jatiya Press Club and terminated at Paltan intersection being by the obstruction of law enforcers.
Another procession was brought out led by city (North) JCD unit president Abul Mansur Khan and Humayun Kabir from Tejgaon College.
JCD BUET unit also staged a protest procession in the same demand.
Chhatra Dal units of Chittagong University, Islamic University, Agricultural University, Kazi Nazrul University, and various private universities staged protest processions and rallies to press home their demand.
