Dhaka, April 16 –Awami League has formed its national election conducting committee, headed by its President Sheikh Hasina, ahead of the next parliamentary polls likely to be held in December next.
AL President Sheikh Hasina has been nominated as ‘chairman’ of the committee, while AL advisory council member HT Imam as co-chairman and AL general secretary Obaidul Quader as its member secretary, said an AL release on Monday.
Members of AL advisory council and AL central working committee, presidents and secretaries of its associate bodies are the executive members of the ‘National Election Conducting Committee’. -UNB
