Dhaka – A Dhaka court on Monday granted bail to Brokerage Alliance Securities and Management Limited chairman Pankaj Kumar Roy in a case filed for amassing wealth worth Tk 8.5 crore illegally.Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday arrested businessman Pankaj Roy from his residence at Dhanmandi in the capital in a case lodged for amassing wealth illegally. A team of the ACC conducted a drive in his house overnight and arrested him on Monday morning, ACC deputy assistant director Sylvia Ferdous told newsmen.
The anti-graft body on Sunday evening filed a money laundering case with Ramna Model Police Station against him on the charge of amassing wealth illegally. – Special Correspondent
