The Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) distributed Aman paddy
seeds among cyclone Mohasen affected 37,000 farmers of the district
during the current season.
DAE office sources said a total of 1,85000 kgs high yielding variety
seeds of the paddy were distributed among the farmers. Each of the
farmers got 5-kg seeds.
DAE officer Nittyoranjon Saha said the government distributed the
seeds to rehabilitate the cyclone affected farmers of the district in
this current season.
