Annisul will be buried next to his mother at Banani

Dhaka – The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCCC) mayor Anisul Haque will be buried next to his mother’s grave. ASM Mamun, DNCC Public Relations Officer said that he will be buried next to his mother, mother-in-law and younger son Sharaful Haq grave at Banani graveyard on Saturday afternoon.He said, “The body of the mayor will be brought to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:20 am on Saturdays. There, his younger brother, army chief Abu Belal Mohammad Shafiul Haq, relatives and DNCC officials will take his body. From there, he will be taken to Banani’s residence.
At 3.00 pm his dead body will be kept at the Army Stadium for general people to pay tribute to him. The namaz-e-janaza of the mayor will be held there and he will be buried next to his mother’s grave at Banani graveyard.
Earlier on Friday, the first namaz-e-janaza of Anisul Haque will be held in Regent Park Mosque in London.
In the memory of Mayor Anisul Haque, a book of mourning opened in five areas including DNCC Nagar Bhaban. The people of the city will be commemorated in these books, remembering him.
On July 29, Anisul Haque went to London with his family. On August 14, he was supposed to return home, but suddenly he fell ill the night before. At this time doctors said that his brain was attacked by bloodstream (cerebral vasculitis) and he continued his long-term treatment.
On 31st October, he was transferred from the ICU to rehabilitation, when his condition improved slightly. Later on November 28, his physical condition gradually deteriorated. He died at London’s Wellington Hospital on November 30 at 4:23 pm.
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed their deep shock at Anisul’s demise.
Main opposition leader Rowshan Ershad, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia also condoled Anisul Huq’s death.
Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharaf Hossain, expressed deep condolences and sorrow to the death of Dhaka City Corporation Mayor Anisul Huq.
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan expressed deep condolences the death of Dhaka North City Corporation mayor Anisul Huq.
BNP Standing Committee member Moudud Ahmed is hoping the next mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation will be as good as mayor Anisul Haque. On Friday morning, Moudud said this after paying tribute to Ziaur Rahman’s grave in Chandrima Udyan.
Fazle Rabbi Mia, Deputy Speaker of Parliament also expressed deep condolences and sorrow. Chief Whip ASM Feroz and mayor Sayeed Kokhon, Dhaka North City Corporation expressed deep sympathy to the mourning family members and expressed deep sympathy for the family members in the sudden death of Anisul Haque. – Staff Reporter
