Two USA-made pistols, four magazines and 14 rounds of bullet were recovered from a mango orchard behind Monakasha Bazar under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Monday morning.
BGB sources said, during a patrol duty a team of BGB of Monakasha Border Out Post (BOP) challenged one person at around 10 am at the aforesaid area under suspicion.
At this, the man fled away leaving a bag from which BGB recovered the arms and ammunition.
Up to filing this report, the handing over of the arms and ammunition to the police was under process, the sources added.Chapainawabganj Correspondent
