Bangladesh’s first bike stunt reality show, titled Pulsar StuntMania, began its telecast on Friday. The episodes will air only on Friday at 11:15pm, with a repeat telecast scheduled on the next Friday at 10:10am.
According to a press release, the reality show, which is meant to thrill and give adrenaline rush to its viewers, will showcase Wheelie, Stoppie, Burn Out, Circle, Human Compass and many other stunts known to the motorcycle community.
At an announcement event held on Thursday for the reality show Head of Business Planning at Uttara Motors Ltd Nayeemur Rahman said: “Bike stunting is basically a sport. Like any other game, there are rules for this as well. When done with proper training and safety precautions, bike stunting can be fun. Certified Helmets, gloves, knee guards, elbow guards, riding jackets, boots and body armor are protection tools used in this sport just like that of cricket or any other sport.”
The director of Pulsar StuntMania from NTV Wahidul Islam Shuvrow said: “Bike stunts in Bangladesh are now more popular than ever, but this is the first time that a reality show has been produced. The budding stunt riders of Bangladesh have come together on a platform to exhibit their skills and learn from professionals to put up an entertaining show for the Bangladeshi audience.”
The episodes of the show will also be hosted on Bajaj Pulsar’s social media channels.
Pulsar StuntMania started in India in 2009 and was a very popular among the bike stunt lovers and motorcycle community. The show also took place in Colombia recently. The reality show has been brought to Bangladesh by Bajaj Motorcycles in collaboration with Uttara Motors Ltd.
