Bangladeshi American Tahsina Ahmed (23) has been elected as a councilor of local government of Held on City of the state of New Jersey.
The Bangladeshi American community of New Jersey, New York and nearby states celebrated her victory on last Tuesday night.Tahsina was a student of Monmouth University. She participated in the election as a member of
the Democratic Party. Her ancestral home is in the village of Lakkhipasha of Gopalganj Upozilla,
