A Dhaka court took into cognizance the charges against 21 Chhatra League leaders and activists in connection with Biswajit Das killing.Metropolitan Magistrate Mostafizur Rahman passed the order and issued arrest warrants against 14 fugitives on Tuesday.
The court also fixed April 17 for submitting a report after issuing arrest warrants.
Inspector Tajul Islam of the Detective Branch of police submitted the charge sheet before the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on March 5.
The arrested are Mahfuzur Rahman Nahid, AHM Kibria, Quiyum Miah Tipu, GM Rasheduzzaman Shaon, Saiful Islam, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam alias Shakil and Emdadul Haque Emdad.
The fugitives are Md Alauddin, Obaidul Quader Tahsin, Imran Hossain alias Imran, Rajon Talukder, Khondoker Md Yunus Ali, Tarique Bin Zohor alias Tamal, Azizur Rahman, Noor-e-Alam Limon, Al Amin Sheikh, Monirul Haque Pavel, Golam Mostafa, Mosharraf Hossain and Kamrul Hasan and Rafiqul Islam.
