Members of the BNP Standing Committee, the party’s top policymaking forum, will meet on Thursday night at party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office, apparently to discuss the current political situation and to decide on their next course of action.BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will preside over the meeting to be held around 8pm, BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told journalist on Wednesday.

The party’s last Standing Committee was held on November 7.
