Dhaka- Police arrested a local leader of Jamaat-e-Islami on sabotage charge from in front of Central Mosque in Gabtoli upazila in Bogra on Wednesday.The arrestee was identified as Masudur Rahman, ameer of the upaziunit of Jamaat and son of late Abdus Sobhan of Sandhyabari village of the upazila,UNB news agency reported.Officer-in-charge of Gabtoli Police Station Sayeed Mahmud Khan said tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and
arrested the Jamaat leader in the afternoon.Masudur was arrested on charge of carrying out subversive activities, the OC added.
