Bikalpa Dhara President Badruddhoza Chowdhury on Friday said the government had made a commitment to hold a fresh and inclusive parliamentary polls after the January 5 elections and should live up to it without delay.He said this while addressing an iftar party organised by Bikalpa Swechchashebak Dhara at Dhaka Reporters Unity.
The former President also noted that only fair parliamentary polls can restore democracy in the country.
Bikalpa Dhara leaders Eng Muhammad Yusif, Shah Ahmed Badal, BM Nizam and Rafiqul Islam also spoke on the occasion.- UNB
