A Dhaka court on Sunday deferred the hearing in the case filed against 73 people including BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir for vandalism and arson June 16.Magistrate Alamgir Kabir Raj of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka fixed the date considering the time petition submitted on behalf of the accused persons.
On December 9, 2012, police filed the case with Jatrabari Police Station of the city. Later, on February 28, 2014, Sub-Inspector Abdullah Biswas of the police station and also the Investigation Officer of the case submitted the charge sheet of the case to the court. – Court Correspondent
