Dhaka – Chuadanga District Council election campaign is going on in full swing in the district.The election is scheduled to be held on Dec 28. The candidates are campaigning round the clock, meeting the voters to seek their support,UNB news agency reported.There are 36 unions and four municipalities in the district. The chairmen and members of the union parisads and mayors and the councilors of the municipalities are the voters.Four candidates are contesting for the post of chairman while 55 candidates are contesting for the posts of 13 word members. A total of 23 female candidates are contesting for five posts of female members reserved for them. The total voters in the district are 528.
