Closing Ceremony of Training for Addiction Professionals

Dhaka Ahsania Mission has completed the training of the third (3rd) batch by completing the last two curriculum of International Centre for Credentialing and Education of Addiction Professionals (ICCE) -Training. The five day long training was organized for the addiction professionals, including doctors, counselors, managers and other staff from the country’s different drug treatment and rehabilitation centres.
The training was held on “Case Management for Addiction Professionals” and “Ethics for Addiction Professionals”. The training was started on 22 September, Sunday and closing ceremony was held on 26 September 2019, Thursday at Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Health Sector Training room. Head of Health Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) and Global Master Trainer Mr. Iqbal Masud and Mr. Md. Amir Hossain, Project Officer and Master Trainer of the Sector, along with other internationally recognized Master Trainers presided over the training.
International Center for Credentialing and Education of Addiction Professionals (ICCE)) of Colombo Plan has recognized Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) for enhancing the capacity of professionals in drug treatment. It aims to enhance the knowledge, skills and competency level of addiction and professionals by providing them with a solid foundational understanding of the science of addiction and latest
information on evidence-based practices in treatment and interventions for clients and families. The experiential activities aim to enhance the skills and build up the confidence of Treatment Practitioners in the delivery of quality care and services that could be help to improve treatment outcomes.
