GS Engineering & Construction Corp of South Korea set up a computer lab and donated necessary computer to Gazipur Police Lines School on 20th May 2013 for the technical training and development of the poor students.
GS E & C is engaged in Bangladesh for the construction of Bibiyana~Kaliakoir 400KV Power Transmission Line. It is a very important project for Bangladesh Government to face the prevailing power crisis of the country.
This Project is financed by EDCF (Economic Development Co-operation Fund) of Korea Government. Mr. Jong Dae Lim, the Project Manager of GS E & C handed over the Lab apparatus and computers to ADC (Gen) Shanaj Dilruba Khan, Md. Abdul Baten, ppm, Police Super of Gazipur. Mr. Si Hyoung Lee, the General Admin Manager of GS E & C said that they have a long-term plan to assist the unprivileged people in Bangladesh and want to share their dream and hope with us. Representative of District Administrator and other Government officials of Gazipur also attended the ceremony.

Police arrested a Chhatra League leader at Townkolony area under Sherpur upazila in Bogra district recently and seized a revolver and six rounds of bullet from his used motorcycle tool box. The arrestee was identified as Rezaul Haque Fahim, 22, son Ayenal Haque master of the area. A case was filed with local Police Station in this regard.
