A police constable died of cardiac arrest at Shahjadpur Police Station early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Julfikar Ali, 54, son of late Lokman Hossain, a resident of Andhar Kota village under Sujanagar thana in Pabna district.
Hasan Shamim Iqbal, officer-in-charge of the police station, said Julfikar was on duty at the police station when he suffered the heart attack.He was first taken to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital and he died on way to Dhaka at about 2:30 am.The body was handed over to Julfikar’s family members after an autopsy. -UNB, Sirajganj
