Uindentified miscreants threw three crude bombs at the village house of Jasad MP Mainuddin Khan Badal at Sarwatoli village in Boalkhali upazila on early Tuesday.
Witnesses said a group of unidentified miscreants hurled the crude bombs at the house of Badal, a Jasad MP from Boalkhali constituency around 2.00am.Badal was outside the house during the attack. No one was hurt in the incident.
Shamsul Islam, officer-in-charge of Boalkhali police station, confirmed the incident.
Badal has attracted strong criticism from different corners for suggesting at a recent meeting of the AL-led alliance to open fire on ‘terrorists’. – UNB
