Chittagong – A local Jubo Dal leader was shot dead by some miscreants at Muradnagar in Sitakundu upazila on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Nizamul Karim Sajeeb, 31, a member of Muradnagar union unit Jubo Dal and son of Anisul Haque Member of the upazila.Witnesses said a group of miscreants called Sajeeb out of home around 10 pm on Friday and shot him near his house and then also chopped him for ensuring his death.
On information, police recovered the body.
Iftekhar Hasan, officer-in-charge of Sitakundu Police Station, confirmed the incident. A case was filed in this connection. – UNB
