Deepika Padukone is all set to captivate the audience with her performance in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak. The actress will be essaying the part of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. Deepika will be seen on the big screen after almost two years. Her last film was Padmaavat, post which the actress took a break to get married and did not sign any new projects in the process. However, when Chhapaak came her way the actress couldn’t help but agree to do it. Deepika will be working alongside Vikrant Massey in the film. This is the first time the two actors are collaborating on a film. The audience is eager to watch this fresh pair together.
Deepika and Vikrant began prepping for the film a couple of weeks back but today both the actors took to Instagram to share a picture from the script reading session of Chhapaak. Deepika captioned the image as, “All things are ready if our mind be so-William Shakespeare #Chhapaak”. While Vikrant wrote, “As actors, we live for this moment.
