A Dhaka court on Thursday recorded depositions of the complainant in the case filed over the leakage of draft verdict in the death sentence executed, BNP leader Salauddin Quader Chowdhury’s war crime case with the International Crimes Tribunal.Later, Judge KM Shamsul Alam of Dhaka Cyber Tribunal fixed March 24 for recording more depositions of the witnesses. Accused Faruque Ahmed, Mahbubul Ahsan and Nayan Ali produced to the court on the occasion. Besides, accused Farhat Quader Chowdhury, wife of SQ Chowdhury, his son Humam Quader Chowdhury and Barrister AKM Fakhrul Islam appeared in the court. They are on bail in the case. The remaining accused Mehedi Hasan is on the run.
On August 28, last year, DB Inspector Shahjahan, who is also the Investigation Officer of the case submitted the charge sheet of the case to the court accusing seven person for stealing information from the tribunal.
On October 4, last year, the case was filed with Shahbagh Police Station under sections 57 and 63 of the Information Technology Act. , Co
