Detective Branch of Police has held two alleged drug peddlers from Bandarban Sadar upazila, following a gun fight on early Friday.DB inspector Monjurul Alam confirmed the incident at Bandarban district police superintendent’s office.The arrested are, chief of Bulu Bahini, Ilias alias Bulu, 32, and his associate Mohammad Rubel, 22.A pistol, four bullets and one hundred yaba tablets have been recovered from the scene.Monjurul Alam said two constables got injured in a gun battle between police and Bulu along with his five or six associates, at Udal Bania Bazar of Rajbila union.Later, Bulu and one of his associates Rubel were arrested from the spot.Bulu has already several cases filed against him, he added.
