A dyeing factory was gutted by a fire that broke out at Konabari in the city on Tuesday morning.
Fire Service sources said the fire originated from an oven of the factory of ‘Riad Dyeing’ in the area at about 8:00am and soon spread to its entire premises.
On information, four firefighting units from Joydebpur and Kaliakoir rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after one hour of frantic efforts with the help of local people at about 9:00am.The extent of losses from the fire could not be ascertained yet. – UNB, Gazipur
