‘Extra judicial killings to carry out anti-state acts’

Dhaka-BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi blasted the government as the latter have been carrying out anti-state activities silently, bringing the country’s economic growth on the brink of a complete collapse.Rizvi was addressing the reporters at a press conference at the BNP’s Nayapaltan office in the city on Thursday.
The BNP leader said “In fact, the rowdy acts of militancy, nationwide crackdown, and extra-judicial killings have been created in order to keep people’s attention out of focus.”
The government has been doing these so they can perform anti-state acts hurriedly, Rizvi claimed.
Rizvi also condemned the ongoing arrests of his party men by lawpersons and the attacks on his party activists by the ruling party men at different places of the country.
BNP joint secretary general Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Khairul Kabir Khokon, Organising Secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukdar, assistant assistant organising secretaries are Abdus Salam Azad, assistant office secretaries Asadul Karim Shahin, BNP’s student wing Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal office secretary Md Abdus Sattar Patwary were also present at the press conference.
