Find effective justice delivery system: Law Minister

Law Minister Barrister Shafique Ahmed on Saturday urged both the bench and the bar members and also the police to find out an effective mode in dispensation of justice eschewing inordinate delay to increase people’s confidence in the judiciary. “A calendar can be prepared for disposing of the criminal cases fixing the timeline for investigation, testimony of both the prosecution and defence witnesses. The procrastination of cases would be removed through introducing such application,” he said.
