Five more senior secretaries

Dhaka, Jan 30 – The government has made five more Senior Secretaries after satisfying their better performances as secretary in five different ministries and divisions yesterday.
They are: secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division of Education Ministry Md. Sohorab Hossain, secretary of Security Service Division of Home Ministry Fadid Uddon Ahmed Chowdhury,
secretary of Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Md Shak Kamal, secretary of ministry of Youth and Sports Mohammad Abdullah and secretary of Social Welfare Ministry Zuena Aziz.
With them, a total of 16 secretaries became Senior Secretaries in the country’s civil administration to till date.
Meanwhile, three secretaries in different ministries and the divisions have been transferred in different ministries and divisions and one additional secretary has been transferred as acting secretary yesterday.
Of them, member of Planning Commission Mohammad Dilwar Bakth has been transferred as secretary of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and secretary (coordination and reform) of Cabinet Division
NM Ziaul Alam was made secretary of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division.
Secretary of ACC Dr Md Shamsul Arefin was made secretary (coordination and reform) of Cabinet
Division and additional secretary of Ministry of Railways Abul Kalam Azad has been transferred as acting
member of Planning Commission.
On the other hand, additional secretary pf Primary Education Ministry Dr. AFM Manhur Kadir has been
transferred as Director General (DG) of the Primary Education Department and additional secretary of
Financial Institutions Division Md Fazlul Haque was made DG of National Museum of Science and
