Dhaka – District police arrested four people with endangered reptiles from Patharghata Upazila in Barguna today. The arrested were Harun-ar-Rashid, 52, Kamal, 40, Hassan, 40, and Abdul Latif, 50.Police said on information they conducted a raid at a house at Nachnapara village under Patharghata Upazila and arrested them with a number of endangered reptiles last night.The accused were sent to jail today, said Officer-in-Charge of Patharghata Thana Md Nazrul Islam.A case was filed with concerned Thana under in Forest Act.BSS
