A housewife took her own life by taking poison in her living room at
Habibpur village under Shibgonj upazila of Bogra district on Wednesday
evening. The deceased was identified as Renu Begum, 27, wife of Md.
Arshadul Mia of the same villege.
Police quoting victim’s family members said that she had a long
misunderstanding with her husband and on that fateful morning she
quarreled with her husband on a silly matter and took poison on
Wednesday noon.
Later she was rushed to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and
Hospital where the attending doctor declared her dead.
Officer-in-Charge of Shibgonj police station Fazlul Karim said that
the dead body was sent to the hospital’s morgue for autopsy. An
unnatural death case was filed with the police station in this
connection on Thursday morning, added the OC. – Our Correspondent
