Iqbal Mahmud made ACC chief

Former senior secretary of the public administration ministry, Iqbal Mahmud, was appointed chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday.Cabinet secretary Md Shafiul Alam confirmed this to Prothom Alo.
He said, “Iqbal Mahmud and a retired district judge, AFM Aminul Islam, have been made commissioners of the ACC.”
Outgoing ACC chief Md Badiuzzaman, and ACC commissioner, AMM Aminul Islam, will end their office terms on 13 March.
Iqbal Mahmud and AFM Aminul Islam will replace the outgoing chairman and commissioner respectively.
