Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Monday called another countrywide daylong hartal for Tuesday protesting what it said the government’s conspiracy to kill its leader Abdul Quader Mollah for political purpose. In a statement, Jamaat acting secretary general Shafiqur Rahman announced the shutdown programme in the evening. Meanwhile, Jammat enforced a daylong hartal on Monday for the same reason.
