Police have arrested an Upazila unit chief of Jamaat-e-Islami at Gazipur on charges of vandalism.Kapashia Police Station OC Md Ashan Ullah said that Kapashia Upazila Jamaat chief Md Safayet Ullah was picked up around 8pm Friday.
Gazipur Jamaat-e-Islami’s general secretary SM Sana Ullah told bdnews24.com that there were no previous cases against the arrested leader.
