Dhaka – Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) activists brought out a procession on the Dhaka University (DU) campus on Monday protesting the attack on Rajshahi University (RU) students by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men.The procession was taken out from in front of Shamsunnahar Hall which was also aimed at demanding the unconditional release of JCD president Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Juwel.
The procession ended at the Central Shaheed Minar after parading major points of the DU campus.
Over 100 RU students were injured in attacks by police and the BCL men on the RU campus on Sunday whereby authorities declared the university closed for an indefinite period. – UNB
