The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Wednesday directed all organisations related to emergency services to take special steps to keep their services operational during the upcoming Eid vacation.It asked the ministries, departments and organisations concerned to inform the PMO regarding the steps taken to keep the emergency services like heath, law enforcement, disaster management, fire service, communication, banking, water, power and gas operational during the Eid holidays from July 1-9, 2016. “It’s necessary to keep the emergency public services operational to keep people’s day-to-day affairs during the Eid vacation,” the PMO directive added.
