Khoka implicated in bomb attack

Police have accused BNP vice-chairman Sadeque Hossain Khoka of instigating bomb attacks that left seven people grievously injured.A case filed with the Sutrapur Police Station on Monday charged Khoka as the instigator of Sunday’s petrol-bomb attack that caused burn injuries to the victims.
Ten, including the BNP’s student affairs advisor Shahid Uddin Choudhury Annie, its student affiliate Chhatra Dal’s president Abdul Quader Bhuiyan Jewel and its general secretary Habibur Rashid also stand accused.
“Provocative statements by the accused instigated the strikers to hurl the petrol-bomb at Laxmibazaar,” Sutrapur Police Station OC Rafikul Islam told bdnews24.com.
Seven, including one Montu Paul, who suffered third degree burns, were injured in the attack on a 4-wheeler vehicle. – bdnews24.com
