A lawyer was killed and five other people were injured as a pickup van collided head-on
with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the district town on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain Dulal, 34, a lawyer of Laxmipur Judge
Court and son of Fazlul Haque of Banchnagar of the district town.
Police and witnesses said the accident took place at Uttar Temuhni in the morning when
the auto-rickshaw on its way to the town collided head-on with a pickup van coming
from the opposite direction, leaving auto-rickshaw passenger Advocate Delawar dead on
the spot and five other people injured.
Critically injured, the five were admitted to Luxmipur Sadar Hospital. -UNB, Laxmipur
