Dhaka, Jun 2, – Two young cousins were killed in a lightning strike at Moghdhora of Sandwip upazila in the district of Chittagong on Thursday night.The deceased were identified as Jane Alam, 25, son of Md Hanif and Md Sohail, 22, son of Md Abdul Hai, hailing from Ward No 3 of Moghdhora union.
Mogdhora Union Parishad Chairman SM Anwar Hossain said that the two young cousins were critically injured as a thunderbolt struck them during fishing in a water body nearby their house.
They were rushed to the Sandwip Medical Centre where the doctor declared them dead. – UNB
