A madrasa student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in the city’s Sheikhpara area on Monday.The deceased identified as Al Amin, 17, son of Ali Akbar, hailing from Gazi Kalu area in Morrelganj upazila of Bagerhat.Police sources said family members of Al Amin entered his room by breaking the door not getting any response despite repeated attempts at about 10:30am and found his body hanging from ceiling of the room.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.Al Amin’s classmates alleged he was accused of stealing a mobile phone set some days ago, which might have instigated him to commit suicide. -UNB, Khulna
