Dhaka – A construction worker died after falling from the rooftop of a moving bus at Fakirpara Dhalan on Dhaka-Rajshahi Highway in Puthia upazila on Saturday evening, UNB news agency reported.The deceased was identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 40, son of late Nazim Uddin, a resident of Chapainawabganj district.
Witnesses said Tofazzal was returning home from Dhaka boarding on the roof of a bus of ‘New Rajshahi Delux Paribahan’ in the afternoon.
When the bus reached Fakirpara Dhalan area, he fell off the roof of the bus after being hit by a roadside tree around 5:15pm and died on the spot.
On information, police recovered his body.
