Dhaka, Sept 16 – The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka Sunday deferred the date for submission of the date in the case filed in connection with the murder of Manarat University student to October 15. Earlier, the court had directed the Investigation Officer of the case, Badda Police Station SI SM Kamrul Hasan to submit the probe report of the case on September 16 (yesterday), but he could not submit the report. For that, Metropolitan Magistrate Raihan Ul Islam deferred the date for submission of the investigation report.
On November 6, last year, around 9 am, Manarat student Nasim was hit thrice on his throat and waist in front his residence at Post Office Gali of Badda. Later, Nasim died during treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Nasim disclosed the names of three persons at the night in connection with his death. Later, Nasim’s father Ali Ahmed Saif Uddin filed the murder case against these three persons and 3-4 other unknown people. – Special Correspondent
