A mango trader died after falling from a human hauler (Alam Shadu)
near a petrol pump in Fakirhat upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Turfan Sheikh 34, son of Elahi Sheikh
of Tentulia village of Satkhira district.
Officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Police Station Golam Mostafa said Turfan
fell out of a human hauler on the Khulna-Mawa Highway in the area and
died on the spot while he along with other traders was returning home
from Gopalganj district by the vehicle in the morning.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Bagerhat
Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection.
