A student of Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) died after falling
off the rooftop of a building in the city’s Mirabazar area early
Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Masum Ahmed, student of the 19th batch
of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science of the university and
resident of Jatarpur of Mirabzar in the city.
Masum’s family sources said he had got onto the rooftop to observe
water tank of the building in the little hours of Tuesday but suddenly
fell off it and died on the spot.
Later, his family members recovered the body.
