Dhaka, April 11 – A case has been filed Wednesday against Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in- Charge (OC) of Wari Police Station in the city, and two of his colleagues on the charges of killing a minor boy in their custody.Rita Akter, mother of deceased Rakib Howladar, 15, filed the case with the Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court of Dhaka on Wednesday.
Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah came up with an order of judicial probe into the incident after hearing the petition.
The other accused are- OC (Investigation) of the police station Md Selim, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Jyoti, informer Mosharraf and two to three unknown persons.
Complainant’s lawyer Emdadul Haque Lal confirmed the newsmen. – Special Correspondent
