MYMENSINGH: Muggers killed two persons, including a woman, by throwing outside from the running train in Trishal and Gaforgaon area of the district on Sunday.Of the deceased, one was identified as Rashida, 35, and another was unidentified.
Railway Police sources said muggers mugged money and valuables from the passengers while passing Gaforgaon in Jamalpur-bound commuter train on Saturday night.
They threw them outside of the train while Rashida and two others prevented them.
Sunday around 11:00am, the bodies were recovered from Awlia Nagor Rail Station and Dhala Rail Station areas. The railway officials could not find another person.
Officer-in-Charge of Memensingh General Railway (GR) Thana Abdus Sattar told to banglanews they are investigating over the incident.
