Arif said he has never faced such an incident before.
Akhtar Malik of Lebanese Muslim Association said mosques have opened their gates for people. Now they are coming to mosques and asking various questions which is a good sign, he said.
Community worker of Sydney Lakamba Mosque, Zahar Tendon said Australian Muslims facing more troubles than American Muslims did after the attack of 9/11. They are facing death threats everyday, she added.
Australian Police have acknowledged that actual numbers of these incidents are much higher than official record. It has been assumed that by facing these racial threats muslim youth can be more violent. – GreenWatch Desk
