The National fisheries Week -2013 began in a befitting manner in
Gopalganj on Tuesday. District Administration and the Fisheries Department,
Gopalganj jointly organised the Fisheries Week. On the occasion a
procession was brought out which paraded main roads in the city.
Local fisherman, political parties, different high officials of the
district, NGOs and local elites were participated the rally. After
rally a discussion meeting was held at Gopalganj Sadar upazila
parashad auditorium. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy
Commissioner (DC),Gopalganj, Chowdhury Emdadul Haque, secretary
district AL, Gopalganj. were spoke as the chief and special guests.
Earlier Today Morning Md.Khalilur Rahman DC, Gopalganj inaugurated the
Fisheries Week 2013 by relishing of the fish.
Among others Prodip Sarker, a fish cultivator, Gopalganj Sadar,
SK,Lutfar Rahman Bachu ,
Upazila Chairman, Gopalganj Sadar , Md. Abdul Motin UNO, Gopalganj
Sadar and Sk. Ruhul Amin, Vice President district AL. Gopalganj were
spoke on the occasion.
