Dhaka – A war crimes suspect of Netrakona, Enayet Ullah Manju, died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in the capital early Wednesday in police custody. He was 80.DMCH sources said Enayet Ullah Manju had been suffering from old-age complications and breathed his last at around 5:00 am. He had been undergoing treatment at ward-602 of the hospital.Enayet Ullah Manju, a resident of Atpara upazila in Netrakona district, was admitted to DMCH on January 3.On January 11, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) took cognisance of formal charges against him for crimes against humanity committed during the Liberation War of 1971 and fixed March 7 for the next hearing.Earlier on February 4 last year, he was arrested following a warrant issued against him by the ICT.UNB
