Police arrested an alleged possessor of illegal firearms from the city’s Kafrul area on Thursday night.
Officer-in-charge of Kafrul police station Sikder Md Shamim Hossain said acting on a tip-off, a Kafrul police team conducted a raid in the thana area and arrested Md Rubel Foraizee alias Sundori Rubel along with one foreign made pistol and three bullets at about 8:30 pm.During preliminary interrogation, the arrested man reportedly revealed that he was involved in selling and buying illegal firearms as well as various criminal activities in different areas of the capital, the OC Kafrul said. – News Desk
