Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday directed all Awami League lawmakers to create a public opinion against the destructive politics of the BNP-Jamaat alliance.
She gave the directives while presiding over a meeting of the Awami League Parliamentary Party (ALPP) held in the conference room of the treasury bench in Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at night.The parliament members who were present at the meeting said that the Prime Minister also asked the MPs to resist the subversive activities of the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
In this connection, Sheikh Hasina said that all leaders and activists of the party will have to join hands to save the life and property of the general people from the destructive acts of the BNP-Jamaat nexus.
Senior leaders and some MPs suggested to be more tough against the troublemakers for the welfare of the mass people. The Prime Minister told them that the government would do its work to supress violence the MPs should create pulic opinion and resistance against the Movement of the Bnp-led alliance. – BSS
